The funny thing is that most of the people who collect these dolls are absolutely bonkers. We had one couple - French - who truly believed these dolls lived. They once returned a doll because apparently all the other dolls hated her. They fought, so it was of no use to keep the doll. Every week they would have a tea-party for the dolls. They would put them on the couches and make tea and cake for them.

The market sort of crashed when they started to copy these dolls.
