Anyone can edit Wikipedia articles. That's the whole point. Try it, it's easy!

I don't think I knew how easy it was until recently.

I deleted Raging Bull from a list of films made in the 1970s (it was 1980) and deleted "Hey Ya!" from a list of songs in 11/4 (a Rolling Stone citation was given, but they're wrong: it's three measures of 4/4, followed by one measure of 2/4, and then another measure of 4/4). While I was at it, I added Stereolab's "Parsec" to a list of songs in 5/4.

I edited a page on a high-ranking republican so that it was extremely offensive to said politico. But I went back and changed it a few hours later, and shortly afterwards received an email from the Wikipedia staff thanking me for having the decency to retract my vandalism.

I added the trivia section to this Wikipedia article, added a lot of information to this other Wikipedia article, and have added little bits and pieces to other articles, none particlarly noteworthy to mention. I can see how Wikiediting could be addictive. If I had more free time, I would certainly spend much of it looking around Wikipedia for articles to edit.

One night I couldn't sleep and thought maybe I'd copyedit the Buffy article, but editing across the tags (instead of just the text) was too much work. Hence the Buffy article still contains horrible grammar and inconsistent serial-comma use.

Wikipedia Scanner allegedly shows that workers on CIA computers have made changes to the page of the Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
It also purportedly shows that the Vatican has edited entries about Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams.

The site also indicates that a computer owned by the US Democratic Party was used to make changes to the site of right-wing talk show host Rush Limbaugh.
The changes brand Mr Limbaugh as "idiotic," a "racist," and a "bigot". An entry about his audience now reads: "Most of them are legally retarded."
The IP address is registered in the name of the Democratic National Headquarters.
A spokesperson for the Democratic Party said that the changes had not been made on its computers. Instead, they said that the "IP address is the same as the DCCC".
The DCCC, or Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, is the "official campaign arm of the Democrats" in the House of Representatives and share a building with the party.
"We don't condone these sorts of activities and we take very precaution to ensure that our network is used in a responsible manner," Doug Thornell of the DCCC told the BBC News website.
Mr Thornell pointed out that the edit had been made "close to two years ago" and it was "impossible to know" who had done it.

Voting issue
The site also indicates that Vatican computers were used to remove content from a page about the Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams.
The edit removed links to newspaper stories written in 2006 that alleged that Adams's finger prints and hand prints were found on a car used during a double murder in 1971.
The section, titled "Fresh murder question raised" is no longer available through the online encyclopaedia.
Wikipedia Scanner also points the finger at commercial organisations that have modified entries about the pages.
One in particular is Diebold, the company that supplied electronic voting machines for the controversial US election in 2000.
In October 2005, a person using a Diebold computer removed paragraphs about Walden O'Dell, chief executive of the company, which revealed that he had been "a top fund-raiser" for George Bush.
A month later, other paragraphs and links to stories about the alleged rigging of the 2000 election were also removed.
The paragraphs and links have since been reinstated.
Diebold officials have not responded to requests by the BBC for information about the changes.

I edited Linda Perhacs's Wikipedia entry in 2008 to say, "It was being reported by late 2007 that Perhacs had recorded two new albums with Ben Watt(source needed)". some dude parroted the factoid in his mp3 blog ("she’s issued two albums of new music in partnership with musician/producer Ben Watt of Everything But The Girl since 2007"), so I cited his blog as a source to help legitimize my claim. my vandalism remained unchallenged for more than four years, but in the end Fernando Perdomo (co-producer of Linda's second album) deleted it, alleging that "Linda has never worked with Ben Watt and she has not even heard of him" ¯\(°_o)/¯

i personally have recorded three albums with ben watt despite being under the impression that he was the guy from the minutemen, so while i respect fernando perdomo immensely i'm not sure her not having heard of ben watt precludes her having worked with him
