Surely ILX could start up a firm and stomp Frodo and the blond twink from Queer as Folk. Without leaving our chairs.

'i don't know what this film's budget was,
but it's fair to say that every penny of it was wasted'

says WORD mag.

looks terrible. genuine line of dialogue:
"See, we call stairs 'apples and pairs..."

It's not THE FIRM.

i love bad hooligan films and TV. there was a very special episode of Casualty in which they all wore bar scarves to a Holby City game and then had a fight and got crushed for no reason at all, and also a great Grange Hill when they wore bar scarves and spoke like Damon Albarn and were racist at QPR. Hurrah!

Is The Football Factory any good?

Sociah T Azzahole (blueski), Thursday, 25 August 2005 15:18 (twenty years ago)

I know several spotty teenage boys who think it was great.

Hello Sunshine (Hello Sunshine), Thursday, 25 August 2005 15:20 (twenty years ago)

No! Of course not. None of them are. Not even the Firm. Even all the documentaries are rubbish. But they are all 'strangely compelling'.

I like hooligan stuff. Teh Firm is GREAT and the Football Factory is uniquely good.

"The gentle Wood isn't very convincing as a bare-knuckle brawler (which bodes ill for his forthcoming role as Iggy Pop)..."

Oh. Shit.
