Don't sweat it. I might go back up this winter, should I find 3 days off in a row (and I can make it so, should I need) by myself. As it was, we didn't do anything very adventurous; my travel partner ended up getting tired from all the walking and would retreat to the hotel for internet and TSN. But I must still conquer cheap french cuisine and the nightlife, so I will be back.
edit: Argentina? Woah. Buenos Aires?

(heh. I'll buy you as many rounds as you want if you can ever find out what the hell is going on with Parque de la Ciudad. probably find somewhere that'll put it in print too, whether it be Amusement Today or some other trade/hobby paper)

>>The scandal was related to official corruption that plagued thepark project, particularly with respect to importation of the rides. The case was highly-publicized and the park's original name, Interama, practically became synonymous with "scandal" in Argentina. As part ofthe proceedings, the park was padlocked at one point. Eventually, thepark was taken over by the city of Buenos Aires, renamed Parque de laCiudad, and reopened. Over the years, a number of suitors have beeninterested in acquiring the immense park. Reportedly no acquisitiondeals have ever been able to go through because of unresolved lawsuitsthat date back to the scandal in the 1980s. The Buenos Airesmetropolitan area has a population of more than 12 million people, making Parque de la Ciudad a potentially very attractive park propertyfor acquisition.
