RFI: Tourist looking for things to do in Toronto this weekend

I'm going to be touristing around the Toronto area from this Saturday through to next Thursday. I've never been there before and I don't yet have an agenda set for myself to follow while there, so I was hoping some of you all would be willing and able to suggest things to do and places to go to while I'm there. Are there any noteworthy cultural events going on during that time that might be worth checking out? Any places not featured much in the tourist guides that might be worth a gander, either to get a feel for the city or just because they're cool? Any touristy thingys that are really worth doing or really not worth the bother?

Off the top of my head I can't think of anything special going on (aside from the Ex). I'd suggest searching threads about Toronto that don't have the word "fap" in the title.

Already searched 'em before I asked the question. I just didn't find that much helpful advice in the threads I read. Maybe I'll just watch a lot of movies while I'm in town. (2046 hasn't been shown in my city yet, for one thing.) What's up with Cineforum? Does its proprietor show actual prints, or is it all just DVDs and projection screens these days? Is the Ex the SF/Fantasy convention that's happening this weekend? Anything there that people would recommend? The Crispin Glover movie showing, perhaps?
