Suggest a four-day holiday for me.

I'm off work today! Woohoo! I'm off work until Tuesday.

If I'd planned this a bit further in advance, I could have arranged to go away somewhere. I could be jumping in my car right now and going off to visit people.

However, I only decided to take today off a couple of days ago, and I didn't think to plan anything. So I'm not going anywhere. Unless, that is, someone suggests a holiday I can take that doesn't need planning, but just needs me to jump in my car.

Lincolnshire. Just about anywhere in the country is practicable, apart from the north of Scotland.

Scarborough! Walks through Peasholm Park, take in the famous Water Skiing Show, a walk along the prom, chips in the evening and a day out at nearby Flamingo Land.

Hmmm. The problem with somewhere like that is that loads of places in Scarborough will already be fully-booked for the holiday.
