See, the newest edition of the Onionjust made fun of it with a "Perfect Gift for Boring Asshole Found at Crate & Barrel" headline. But I quite like it, cos it's cheap, and often quite nice. And i cook a lot, so i like shopping for kitchen stuff. Anyone else?

I was going to say too suburban-faux rustic for my tastes, but then I looked at their site and this bookshelf is nice. So maybe it's not all bad.

There is an excellent Crate&Barrel OUTLET near my parents house. I like to stock up on these:

I have this odd passionfor kitchen stuff and glassware and have plenty. Um, make that more than plenty. But whenever I pass a C&B I always go in and browse. I am the same way at Pier 1 and pottery barn. look and browse but never buy.

beyond dud. their housewares are like, retarded expensive. you can get any of that stuff at cost plus for like half the price, or you can shop in the housewares aisle at marshall's (or any other discount store) and get it for 1/4 the price. not to mention IKEA ...
