What is the most rubbish Washington county?

Probably the toughest one for a (continental) west coast state - ALL THREE OF THEM.

I'd say, just throw a bunch of the south-eastern counties into a bag and pick one.. minus the ones with Pullman and Clarkston. Lewiston/Clarkston and Pullman/Moscow areas are pretty neat, actually.

Wait. On second thought....

Pierce County, for being a drug-addled pocket of racism!

The Obligatory Sourpuss (Begs2Differ), Thursday, 22 September 2005 18:31 (twenty years ago)

sorry, meant to say Yakima county, same reason as stated before

No doubt there's a lot of evil Republican money in the more posh outskirts of Pierce county (which is like an analog to Orange County, CA, but scale it up by 10 times.), but the downtown area of Tacoma and the waterfront areas are really neat. And while I've never lived in Tacoma or Pierce county, I don't think you can just say Tacoma is "racist." Drug-addled, sure.

Oh, well, um... BIG difference between Pierce and Yakima.. haha.

Washington County is one of three Oregon Counties making up the Greater Portland Metropolitan area. The county seat, Hillsboro, is approximately 20 miles west of downtown Portland. The county covers 727 sq. mi. with a population of 445,342 and is known for its moderate weather.

Washington County is known for warm winter weather, snowbirds, and beautiful red rock scenery. It has been known as Utah's Dixie since pioneers settled here in the 1850's. Championship golf, tennis, walking paths, biking trails, hiking, warm, snow-free winters and year long low humidity all make life attractive here.

Yakima county has Sunnyside, which stinks. Feedlots all along the highway. But, it also has Zillah, with the Teapot Dome commemorative gas station.

my brother lived in Yakima for three long years (I stupidly thought "Tacoma" because I am mostly asleep but didn't mean it), all that apple-farming semi-slave labor jazz does not sit well and DAMN they got a lot of crazed crankheads out there

Aaah, yes!

But, confusion with threat title granted, this belongs in the "What is the most rubbish Oregon county?" thread.

(At least Washington doesn't have an Oregon County! Then again, we have a Vancouver... )

I'll tell you what: Washington County, MN, did alright by me (and vice-versa).

Also, Clark County is part of the greater Portland area. I mean, seriously. They just don't get to be part of Metro.

I'm going to vote that it isn't Skamania County, because any county that loves ska that much is all right by me (though I admit I wouldn't want to live there, oi oi oi).

I'm not going to choose Asotin County, just because I like saying "Asotin".. like it's some sort of kickass anti-hemmorhoidal medicine.

SKAmania! SKAgit! There is double-ska in WA.
