Thank You cards

So I need to send a few thank you cards, kind of formal-but-not-too-formal, not exactly a personal thing but not exactly business either. I'm clearly part of a new generation that demands bold stationery design.

I went looking, and I saw...

kittens
bows
champagne flutes
comedy animals
flowers

or just a dull font on a boring background, like a barmitzvah invite.

I want something, not necessarily "cool", but kind of with a bit of class. Nothing too feminine. Something that shows I made a bit of effort.

Are ALL thank you cards crap?

Or for, like, WOMEN?

Make your own, out of papier mache and dried pressed leaves.

Then quit complaining.

Why get something that has THANK YOU typed on it already? Just get some fab design notecards that are blank inside and write THANK YOU as part of your note.

I had considered that.

Sometime n/a likes to mâcher papier and put it between two pieces of papier mâché and... oh, never mind.

Are ALL thank you cards crap?

Just buy blank cards that you like and write 'Thank you' in them.

Yeah, what Jaq said.

I have awful writing, so it is always helpful when someone else has done some of the work for me.

you know, just because

It's pretty simple to design and print them from your computer nowadays. But even if your handwriting is awful, illegible, or full of hearts and smiley-faces, you really should hand write the messages. Because that's what will show you made the effort.

you know, just because

You English are so polite after orgies.

Well, I *do* want to be invited back!
