This is mostly the result of bad meat, no? Isn't this the mad cow disease? Or am I wrong?

No one knows.. or no one is willing to admit something.

Would this be an appropriate point to ask "how could they tell?"

I think any questions are appropriate, given the context or lack thereof. When you have people too afraid to test if someone has CJF or not, and this is not an isolated case, something's up.

There's been a lot of speculation for the past 3-4 years about chronic wasting disease, which affects elk and deer, being a variant of scrapie (the sheep version of mad cow). No conclusions from anyone, but it makes me wonder about the safety of eating venison.

The Citadel is an up-and-coming planned community in Idaho. Although liberals and socialists are allowed to apply for a home spot, the developers are very upfront by warning potential residents that life in the community will likely be incompatible with progressive views.

The Citadel Community will ultimately house up to 7,000 folks who fit the developer’s idea of a patriotic American family, according to group’s website. An exact location for the town which will function with Thomas Jefferson’s views in mind, has not yet been chosen. The Idaho Citadel Community will reportedly be somewhere in the picturesque mountain region.

Those who choose (and are approved after application and formal meeting) to live in the Citadel in Idaho community will be “bound together” by patriotism, a belief in American exceptionalism, pride in liberty, and physical preparedness skills, the Daily Caller notes.

A description of the Citadel Community posted on the Idaho group’s website reads:

“The Citadel Community will house between 3,500 and 7,000 patriotic American families who agree that being prepared for the emergencies of life and being proficient with the American icon of liberty, the Rifle — are prudent measures. There will be no HOA. There will be no recycling police and no local ordinance enforcers from city hall.”

Ground will begin breaking for the Idaho community this year. More than 200 families have reportedly already reserved space in the Citadel Community. The town invites those who are patriotic, well-prepared, and seek to live in both a safe and affordable place to apply.

Once Citadel applicants are approved for a home space they will receive a lifetime lease that will be paid off in 30 years. Potential Idaho community members will not be subjected to a background check, down payment, or property taxes.

Is the Citadel Community a sign that civil unrest and a divide over governance philosophy is growing in America?
