In the newest Chevy/GM ads, they say "im-PAL-a" but I've always pronounced it (and always heard it) "im-PAW-la"...

Who's right, me or the manufacturer?

I'm pretty sure the ads for the Impala here in AU pronounce it im - PA - la (as in, your my PA, rhymes with car). And if the ad from the company says it like that, then thats enough fer me...
