I have to dress up as something Pink for Halloween

My workplace is having a Pink themed charity day with the proceeds going to Breast Cancer.

This is semi-compulsory, I didn't dress up last year (who in their right mind would get on a bus at rush hour dressed as a giant penis?) and I was shunned as 'uncharitable' and 'not getting into the spirit of things' despite donating.

What's fucking pink?

dress as pinx0r!

Go as a nipple. I mean, there's a theme... You might want to label yourself so people don't think you're a penis though.

although if they've been calling you uncharitable and stuff you should dress up as a giant penis, and if anyone is shocked you can tell them to get into the spirit of things.

erm xpost

Go as PINK. Every so often flying into a RAGE and shout and SCREAM and say you're doing it for charity.

bingo (Chris V), Wednesday, 19 October 2005 11:13 (twenty years ago)

ken c (ken c), Wednesday, 19 October 2005 11:13 (twenty years ago)

Wear a pink shirt. That is something pink.

saleXander / sophie (salexander), Wednesday, 19 October 2005 11:15 (twenty years ago)

Go as homer simpson in his pink shirt!

You're all sick of me reffing the Sipmsons and Futurama now come on admit it (tr, Wednesday, 19 October 2005 11:17 (twenty years ago)

A pink shirt is the most sensible suggestion so far.

But why buy something pink, an outfit, piece of clothing whatever when we could donate the cost of such an item to the charity?

Oh and by the by, my own nipples are brown. As are cats arseholes.

My youngest daughter has chosen to have a Pink Party for her 10th birthday in a couple of weeks' time. So far I have been asked to bake a cake with pink icing on it, tint the lemonade pink with food colouring, and to fill the place with pearlescent pink helium balloons. Party going-home bags will be made from pink voile tied with pink ribbon, and contain gifts such as pink soaps or bath pearls, pink hair bobbles, and pink candy. I'm currently designing pink card invitations, edged in pink glitter.

I gather the guests will be wearing jeans and pink T-shirts, with pink-painted fingernails and various pink diamante hair slides etc.

The whole thing is like being trapped in a Barbie nightmare.

C J (C J), Wednesday, 19 October 2005 11:32 (twenty years ago)

gah post eatage!

Ste (Fuzzy), Wednesday, 19 October 2005 11:35 (twenty years ago)

problem solved: when CJ's party is over, she can send all the pink stuff up to Rumpie who can then adorn herself with it.

Archel (Archel), Wednesday, 19 October 2005 11:37 (twenty years ago)

Perfect.

I think I have a set of pink willy deely boppers left over somewhere from a hen night. I could resurrect them.

Rumpie, Wednesday, 19 October 2005 11:40 (twenty years ago)

How do you resurrect pink willy deely boppers? Rub them lots?

C J (C J), Wednesday, 19 October 2005 11:42 (twenty years ago)

Tee hee, if I rub them they might come off in my hand.

Rumpie, Wednesday, 19 October 2005 11:47 (twenty years ago)

I hate it when that happens.
