A close friend who didn't have the time to spend caring for a dog gave Henderson Skeeter about three years ago. At first, Henderson's husband, Darrell, thought the poodle whose name is short for mosquito was too small to keep. Since then, Skeeter, now 5, has become a valued family member.

“He's our guard dog,” Henderson said.

A narcoleptic guard dog?????
