How much do you moisturise? Where, and with what? Any particular lotions and potins you're particularly happy with?

for body white musk lotions and potions from Body Shop (get DOWN, MarkC! :)) and for face some sandalwood thing from Honesty Cosmetics. it's a bit thick and feels unpleasantly like lard though, so i may try something else.

I don't. I am too tough. er....too broke and ignorant of moisturisers to be honest.

I thought this was going to be the "Andrew WK: Classic or Dud?" thread.

Nivea on the face after shaving. Prevents me feeling like I've been sleeping on gravel all night.

Did anyone else notice that Mark asked this question right after announcing his intention to begin a rigorous wanking regimen?

this reminds me, i must go out and buy some belated Crimbo pressies of Body Shop Face Protector (they won't call is moisturiser for men, that'd sound too gurly i suppose) for both RickyT and my boyfwiend, as they both are always moaning and droning abt their dry skin. and the boyfwiend nicks my moisturiser to combat it, the thieving gurl.

I use Simple Everyday Rich Moisturiser (with Pro-Vitamin B5 [not of that Am-Vitamin rubbish] and UV protection), erm, every day.

I was plagued with awful skin throughout adolescence and beyond (and had a lovely three-week vacation back in teenage misery thanks to chicken pox last summer), and have found the only way to keep my face in reasonably good nick is the double whammy of astrigent face-wash quickly followed by moisturising balm. I could try improving my diet I suppose. What *is* the best curry for yr skin?

Are men still generally resistant to moisturising (*or* are women still the main/only dupes of the cosmetic industry)? I have a couple of male friends who've had quite icky dry skin (face) and who will only countenance occasional applications of E45, presumably because it seems sort of medical and not sort of cosmetic. (It works and is cheap. Why am I thinking *they're* the idiots, they who don't deploy an expensive and extensive range of moisturising products?).

Pah they disdain the sagacity of the Ponds Institute = they are as medieval peasants

(we''ve been here before but the PI = the Ecole Normale Supérior with bevies of bogus-doctor babes, no?)
