Do you find yourself eating more in the winter?

Is this a primeval 'store up fat for the cold months ahead' thing or a 'nobody will see my bulk under heavy jumpers and I can start purging again come spring' thing?

nope. i'm a skinny runt and eat twaddle for most of the time. winter is no different.

I don't find myself eating any more than I normally do at all, no, but my eating habits are famously erratic. What I do do is eat much heavier things. Last night I made pork chops with apples and onions in a white wine and nutmeg reduction with mashed ginger butternut squash. I wouldn't even consider eating pork chops during the summer, that just seems gross to me. Other recent dinner entries were pureed potato-leek soup and baked macaroni & cheese made with all italian cheeses.

The upside of winter heavy foods eating is that I do eat less of each thing cos it's impossible to gorge on shit like that as opposed to like, primavera sauce with shrimp over angel hair or sushi or stuff like that.

The downside is that it encourages me to bake pies and brownies.

I eat a vast amount over Christmas, i.e. 1st December - first week of January.
