Vaporizers are inconvienient, clumsy, expensive, wasteful and yes, they get you high. But give me a one-hitter any day.

As for bong water, about every 3 months, which is really lazy, but whadaya expect?

a friend apparently has a crazy super-fancy high-tech vapourizer which all who have seen/used it are in awe of - and it is dubbed 'the volcano'. i have never tried a vapourizer, but i am curious.

and what's wrong with a bong - is it not better to filter the water as opposed to smoking it straight via a one-hitter/spliff?

I'm terrible at changing the the bong water. I just cleaned her last night for the first time in... uhh... a very long time. I borrowed some "resin hater" from a friend. they recommend soaking for 1-4 hours. It took all night. And it still isn't even 100% clean!

(I tried totally cleaning the resin/tannin gunk out of mine recently and it didnt really work. I usually just buy a new one every six months, and clean it once a week - but I only smoke every so often)

I once watched a friend of mine drink a glass of bongwater. I tried to explain the no-THC thing but he wouldn't listen. nb Dude's from East Texas.

I'm very ritual-oriented so I like(d) to change the water every time, along with adding an ice cube. Alas, my two-foot glass bong got Katrina'd (FEMA didn't hook me up with a new govt issue one).

Actually my Sydney friend was here in Decembre and quite enjoyed her stay (even tho when I was showing her around I was having to tell her to "imagine it in the summer time" a lot).

Whats with everyones screens and filters? A friend of mine has a mesh screen cone thingy in her cone - she says it keeps the gunk out or something. I'm just a straight-up glass bong with metal cone piece person. I'm a bong-grot really.

IIRC, I think young Mr Bolton may have joined me in one at my place when he was in Melbs. (Is that right Rob? Its all a blur, for some reason hahahehe)
