Ah thanks! I don't expect many people here.

Yesterday I had quite a scare: I was bleeding! I had spotting during the week but yesterday it was quite heavy. But we went for a checkup and apparently a vein was broken which causes some bleeding. :-(((

Gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag! Lang zal ze leven.....

Ik had ook tijdens mijn zwangerschap gebloed (hoe zeg je dat in het nederlands?). We noemen het "spotting" in het engels. De eerste keer ben ik naar het ziekenhuis gegaan en was erg bang. De tweede keer ben ik gewoon thuis gebleven. Rufus was in iedere geval erg gezond.

Maria, ik bloed nogal hevig. Of liever, ik *vind* dat ik hevig bloed. Ik realizeer dat ik een beetje paniekeer. Eerst waren het kleine druppels, zoals je zegt "spotting", maar sinds een dag heb ik grotere vlekken. Ik maak me minder zorgen want ik voel elke avond of mijn baby beweegt. De baby is een echte kickboxer! De bevalling is voor Januari, als alles goed gaat natuurlijk! :-)

Stan: Ja! Ik had de dag voor mijn verjaardag nogal een grote plek - veel meer dan de normale vlekjes (spotting). Ze kunnen de oorzaak niet echt vinden, maar weten dat het veel voorkomt en dat alles er goed uitziet voor de baby. Ze zeggen natuurlijk dat ik moet terugkeren als er nog bloed is, maar ik merkte duidelijk op dat ze dit zeggen voor de zekerheid. :-)

Wah? I have never heard a Dutch person say this! But I trust you and, heck, I love compliments! :-) And to be honest, some of our accents/dialects are quite nice! Especially in the East Flanders.
