Well? I figure we do one before the approaching holiday season makes us all completely unavailable/insane/despondent. (Check all that apply.)

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Monday, 31 October 2005 08:23 (twenty years ago)

Hmmmm possibly.
What would yea say to lunching on the morrow, Sir Tantrum (I'm working just up the street)?

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Monday, 31 October 2005 23:00 (twenty years ago)

me want beer

Kim (Kim), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 02:34 (twenty years ago)

Thermo, lunchbreaks be rather random at Ye Olde Digital Audio & MIDI Emporium, meaning that I likely won't get to nosh until well after 2 PM. If that works for you, give me a holla.

Also, I'd like to see more of the T-Dot Massive (tm) this time 'round.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 04:52 (twenty years ago)

I'll come too if someone buys me a plane flight! =D

Trayce (trayce), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 04:53 (twenty years ago)

yah

F.R.I.E.N.D. (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 04:53 (twenty years ago)

I'll come too if someone buys me a plane flight! =D

Sillier things have been done. I once flew to Columbus, Ohio for a Halloween party with some 'net friends.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 05:05 (twenty years ago)

you know i'm down. name your time, and choose your weapon.

(we're hoping there'll be some Track Meet action this month too - talks are in progress)

yuengling participle (rotten03), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 05:31 (twenty years ago)

beer me

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 05:39 (twenty years ago)

Ive already threatened Thermo with considering a trip to canadialand next year, heh. If I did tho Id have to do the US too, or else Ned will kill me. Ned, and Tep, and Luna, and Oops, and lord knows who else ;P

Trayce (trayce), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 05:44 (twenty years ago)

But Canukistan 1st!

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 06:12 (twenty years ago)

(we're hoping there'll be some Track Meet action this month too - talks are in progress)

YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 06:19 (twenty years ago)

But Canukistan 1st!

You betcha, D ;)

Trayce (trayce), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 06:23 (twenty years ago)

This weekend? Next weekend?

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Tuesday, 1 November 2005 20:31 (twenty years ago)

I vote for this Saturday. All in favour say "aye" or whatever. hey.

Kim (Kim), Thursday, 3 November 2005 03:25 (twenty years ago)

"nay"

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Thursday, 3 November 2005 03:46 (twenty years ago)

dude, you totally suck. come ON. beeer.

Kim (Kim), Thursday, 3 November 2005 04:34 (twenty years ago)

oh, i will have beer aplenty my friend. An opportunity to fish for both work and girls has presented itself at an outing this saturday and I'd be a fool not to drink me some beer while i was there.

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Thursday, 3 November 2005 04:54 (twenty years ago)

"Nay" for me. Ms. Pixie Cat (as she shall henceforth be known) has a birthday celebration that night that I will miss under pain of death and/or no more nookie forever be in a lot of trouble if I don't go to.

Next Friday or Saturday?

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Thursday, 3 November 2005 05:04 (twenty years ago)

haha, didn't you suggest this weekend? ok maybe next friday i'm free.

Kim (Kim), Thursday, 3 November 2005 05:18 (twenty years ago)

sunday? lets pretend monday is a holiday!

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Thursday, 3 November 2005 05:26 (twenty years ago)

i will be in Toronto from Jan. 14 to Feb. 1st. There will be bday dinners and drinks. I am warning.

anthony, Thursday, 3 November 2005 07:52 (twenty years ago)

Yeah, I kinda blanked on that one because her actual birthday is tomorrow, and we're having a quiet late-night dinner.

Sunday won't work for me, sadly.

Next Friday?

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Thursday, 3 November 2005 18:17 (twenty years ago)

works for us. HOP again?

Kim (Kim), Friday, 4 November 2005 02:51 (twenty years ago)

Okay! Is that our de facto spot from now on?

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Friday, 4 November 2005 15:18 (twenty years ago)

aside from being out of the way for us, it has been pretty great there.

oh, unrelated but if anyone reading this has ever attended a function at The St Andrews Club (27th Flr in the Sun Life Centre) please email me? thinking of giving them a large deposit (large to me anyway!) but finding user reviews on the place has proven difficult.

Kim (Kim), Tuesday, 8 November 2005 00:32 (twenty years ago)

Aieeeee... gonna be late tomorrow night! Surprise session! Save me a seat - I will bring the 'Mode tickets!

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Thursday, 10 November 2005 17:31 (twenty years ago)

I will bring your $$$!

What time are people getting there?

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Thursday, 10 November 2005 18:14 (twenty years ago)

I will hopefully be there with Miss Marianna, ILXor extraordinnaire from the YOO-KAY! But dunnot our plans yet... Yes, what time?

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Thursday, 10 November 2005 21:34 (twenty years ago)

Woot! I can make it!

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Friday, 11 November 2005 00:52 (twenty years ago)

Great! 8:30 for us (I'm guessing.) Stinky Carruthers texted me this afternoon to say he's too sick, so we'll have to do without him.

Kim (Kim), Friday, 11 November 2005 02:06 (twenty years ago)

I'l be along a bit later than that.

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Friday, 11 November 2005 02:07 (twenty years ago)

don't worry - i'm always later than i say.

Kim (Kim), Friday, 11 November 2005 02:12 (twenty years ago)

i will be in Newfoundland, dammit. have a fun time in my stead, and i'll try to make the next one...

yuengling participle (rotten03), Friday, 11 November 2005 06:10 (twenty years ago)

Jumpin' dyin' Moses, bye, whaddya doin' owt dere?

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Friday, 11 November 2005 15:56 (twenty years ago)

Aye, tis true that I'm sick. Some of you may have noticed that I've almost dropped out from ILX altogether over the last little while, and that's largely owing to the huge number of projects I've been working on. Apparently that's taken its toll, and I've been hacking like crazy the whole week. Since we're taping next week, I can't afford to make it worse with beers, and I don't want to give you folks anything, either. So I'ma pass on this one, though I want to be there. Next time!

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 11 November 2005 19:05 (twenty years ago)

Cripes, at this rate, why don't we all just go to Dave's DJ night next Friday???

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Friday, 11 November 2005 19:47 (twenty years ago)

that sounds good too, but is probably is too late to cancel this outright, and low key is fine with me. besides, is Marianna still in town next Friday? it'd be a shame if we missed the chance to meet her.

Kim (Kim), Friday, 11 November 2005 21:42 (twenty years ago)

Yeah, you're right. I'll see you guys later. But we should all go to Dave's thing anyway - it's always a good time.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Friday, 11 November 2005 21:55 (twenty years ago)

"At this rate"? ... we're going to have like twice as many people as we did at the last FAP!

I'm leaving now, BTW.

Everybody should go to Dave's Track Meet next week too. Unless something terrible happens tonight and we all get sick of each other and decide we need a few weeks of space.

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Saturday, 12 November 2005 02:13 (twenty years ago)

You shouldn't give me ideas like that, Barry.
(if you haven't left yet how are you getting there?)

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Saturday, 12 November 2005 02:26 (twenty years ago)

Thanks for entertaining my Dad - I barely got to see him this week. He got a kick out of you guys, and Ms. Cat enjoyed herself too.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Saturday, 12 November 2005 15:07 (twenty years ago)

"Unless something terrible happens tonight"

i just saw the former Neil Young thread. (do you even remember this now?) nearly choked laughing!

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 12 November 2005 17:07 (twenty years ago)

The "alteration" of the Neil Young thread was entirely the work of Mr. Thinwall. I was back home when he did that -- my reaction was the same as yours.

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Saturday, 12 November 2005 19:21 (twenty years ago)

People still seem to be adding Neil Young songs tho!

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Saturday, 12 November 2005 19:43 (twenty years ago)

How did amon lock a thread?

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Saturday, 12 November 2005 19:44 (twenty years ago)

KIM, WE WANT WEBSTER AT THE NEXT FAP.

MAKE IT HAPPEN SOMEHOW.

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Saturday, 12 November 2005 19:45 (twenty years ago)

OK.

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 12 November 2005 23:20 (twenty years ago)

He didn't lock shit, Barry. I locked him from the noize board after he declared his loyalties to a false idol!

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Saturday, 12 November 2005 23:44 (twenty years ago)

just to prove that i'm not some pathological liar, (and cause it's funny!) i dug a couple of pics out of a box for you guys. enjoy - i'll be taking them down soon i think.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 13 November 2005 16:08 (twenty years ago)

wow, looks like you guys had a really old-fashioned fap

s1ocki (slutsky), Sunday, 13 November 2005 16:32 (twenty years ago)

WHOA

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Sunday, 13 November 2005 18:22 (twenty years ago)

RIGHT NOW

WEBSTER'S MOM IS BLOWING YOUR MIND

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 13 November 2005 18:30 (twenty years ago)

hi folks..
so sorry we didn't make it out. after a full day of t-dot tourist-ness, marianna and i never did make it out 'east side' on friday at all. after lots of talk of various friday night activities, we wound up doing nothing. hooray!
i'll be along next time, though...

oh, any plans for pre-depeche-mode beverages (for those going)?

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Sunday, 13 November 2005 21:51 (twenty years ago)

Ooh, good idea!
