what happens if you lose the little envelope that the CD comes in? I don't mean the mailer - i mean the little sleeve with the description? I think we lost one for good.
also - uh...not that i'd do anything UNETHICAL, but, err...how do I put this? What is the 'video guard' situation for burning? Does Netlix guard everything, some things, or none?

Q: I lost the prepaid return envelope used for returning the DVD.See answerQ: I lost the protective white sleeve the movie comes in. What should I do?A: If you've misplaced the sleeve, simply return the movie with a note that includes the name and email address associated with your account, so we can properly credit the returned movie to your account. Please note that this may take us additional time to process.
Unfortunately, we can’t give you credit for returning the movie without this information.
If you later find the white sleeve, you can discard it.
For part 2- use dvddecrypter and dvdshrink, both freeware.

sounds like you already did this, but that link says
Silverlight does not work in Firefox 4
Old versions of Silverlight may not work in Firefox 4 causing sites like Netfix to display a message giving you the option to "Restart in 32-bit mode". Clicking this restart button will make Silverlight work only until you restart Firefox again. To fix this permanently, please update your installation of Silverlight to the latest version using Microsoft's Silverlight installation page.

Just tried to add Louie to my Q and they only have season 2 available? That can't be right, right?
― Nothing cracks a turtle like Leeeon Uris (Leee), Wednesday, 25 July 2012 04:17 (thirteen years ago)
Third season just started airing, right? They won't have it streaming until after it comes out on DVD (that's the way it is with Netflix on almost all current series).

S1 and 2 are both there for me.

Do any of you guys use Classic Flix? I feel like Netflix has a pretty limited selection of older films and wonder if this is better.

apologies in advance for what i'm sure are stupid questions, but

Yeah you can watch the streaming stuff on your computer
You'll be able to search their library only once you sign up
I think you can use http://instantwatcher.com if you're not a member
― just1n3, Sunday, 4 May 2014 16:17 (twelve years ago)
thank you. it's bizarre to me that they won't let you easily browse their catalog without being a member first. hard to convince people it's a worthwhile service unless you let them get a sense of what they'll get if they join.

I want to add Netflix to my web browser searches. What is the URL for it? For example google is http://www.google.com/search?q=%s or something similar.
