I feel all tender-hearted today, painfully aware of every little sadness in people's lives, viewing every slight and diss from the perspective of the little boy or girl everyone once was, and easily yielding to pangs of nostalgia and regret.

Thing is, a part of me maintains some skepticism as to how truthful these perceptions are. Are people really so easily hurt, but it's just that we've learned how to momentarily repress our hurts?

I'm not about to start weeping or anything, but I do feel that if I really delved into these feelings I would seriously bawl for everyone on the planet.

So is this a state of delusion?
