How could such a band have come into existance that so thoroughly defies all attempts at human expression of emotion in song form? Where did they come from? Space? Their version of "Ticket to Ride" sounds like it was specially crafted by an evil superbeing to reduce the human spirit to a sniveling maggot. HOW could this have HAPPENED!?

i hear ya dada. When I was young I too would listened to the radio and to wait for my favorite songs to be aired. And when they played them I'd sing along and it made me smile.

Those were such happy times and it seems not so long ago, but now I wonder where they’d gone. However, yesterday when I turned the radio on they were back again, it was just like a long lost friend - all the songs I loved so well!

Every sha lalala, and every woe woe woe, still shined.
And every shing a ling a ling, that they started to sing was so fine.

Then when they get to the part, where he was breaking her heart, it can really make me cry. Just like before.

It's yesterday once more.

I used to think I liked the Carpenters, but I just put in their hits CD and I suddenly realize they are evil. They are vampyres, sucking out your life blood as you listen to them. Karen Carpenters voice sounds as wretched and perverse as her anorexia.
