... I don't know where I got this from, but I have been known to say this when caught blubbing at a weepy movie (which I do all the time) by girlfriends/ female relatives etc etc

... it's like that line from some crap Billy Crystal movie that always stuck in my head, he's a comedian having to deal with an unresponsive audience:

"You enjoying yourself out there! Yeah! Well, tell your face!"

... took me years for the right scenario to arise to allow me to use that line

The worst is when I get busted during a drunken emotional song-listening and it's like "what's wrong!?!?" I can't summon up the gusto to actually say "this song is reaaaaaaly good!" so instead I say something like "I was just cutting some onions...uh...this afternoon".
