Is a single late payment a big credit-score-blower-upper? I'm still getting the hang of online bill pay on my business credit card.

no, it doesn't get reported until it's 30 days late.

not at all. I've had late fees a few times and it never wound up on my credit report because I paid within a few days (and in most cases also got them to drop the fee).

OK, thanks. I made this payment 2 days late, and got a $39 reminder to set up an iCal alert to pay that bill on the first of the month.

I would strongly recommend calling the card company and just saying "Listen I always pay my bills on time and this was just a slip because of (xyz excuse)" and there's a good chance they'll waive the fee.
