In TV, which bits did you find better and worse second time around?

This is the thread where you say what is better and what is worse after watching something for the second time. This is prompted by the Dr Who marathon at the weekend where we watched all of the Ecclestone ones, but please don't restrict the thread to Who talk.

I liked the emo dalek 1st time round, but this time he did seem really wet. When the dalek WASN'T emo (when he was chained up and Dr was shouting at him) - that scene was intense, in a good way. I want my daleks hard and scary, not shuffling their feet and complaining how unfair life is. And when compared to the dalek invasion, that episode just seemed weak in a way that it didn't when the two episodes were seperated by 2 months instead of 5 hours. Don't get me wrong, it passed the time admirably, it's just that it didn't bowl me over 2nd time round like it did orginally.

I still think if you're going to make something that overblown and melodramatic you should at least make it a musical.

The bit at the start with the Doctor going mental was great, as would have been the "THE DOK-TOR?" bit if it hadn't been for the sodding spoiler the week before. So yes, I imagine that a lot of that season would be improved, becase I hated the trailers so much.

I thought series 2 of I'm Alan Partridge seemed much better the second time I saw it.

Certain scenes in Spaced seem worse the second or third time.
