eh?... tangerines are more often sold in winter because that is when they ripen. they are in season november - start of may. (as are navel oranges and blood oranges). in the summer you months you can buy Valencia oranges (season late feb to nov).
lemons & limes i believe grow year round.

they are so tart, but sweet -- and so colorful! just the right size too. i have been enjoying regular oranges a lot lately, but blood oranges are really next level.
i might go back to the produce market for more because i already ate the three i bought yesterday.

I always look for blood oranges in London but they usually only have them at, like, Whole Foods at High Street Kensington, which is a pain in the ass - but I just found out they sell them at a Carluccios, of all places, right near my house. 50p each but super worth it.
