Yeah, but lots of things have been exposed on national TV. Weapons of Mass Destruction, Meth, and Christianity come to mind.

If these things have all been "exposed on national TV" and yet still enjoy surging popularity, that is a clear indicator that Peter Popoff knows what he's talking about and is prepared to lead us into the next Golden Age of humanity. Thanks.

Plus, "Popoff" is vaguely euphemistic.
