My uncle died at the weekend and lived in Bromley, which is where i'm presuming the funeral will be. We'll be staying in a B&B in Tavistock Place. What's the best way to get there?

Trains to Bromley go from Victoria. Walk from Tavistock Place to Euston and get the Victoria Line.

We're going down on Sunday 12th and coming back on Tuesday, flying into Luton and getting the thameslink to kings cross and will be staying at the ibis at euston.

Would we be better getting oyster cards rather than day tube passes given that we'll probably won't be leaving central london apart from when we go to bromley for the funeral?
