"Thousands of people take photos every day.
What if one of them looks odd?"

2)

"You see hundreds of houses every day.
What if one has unusual activity and seems suspicious?"

3)

"Thousands of people have mobiles.
What if someone with several seems suspicious?"

You're walking in a desert, suddenly you see a toroise crawling toward you. You reach down and flip the tortoise on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping. Why is that?

Not so long ago I saw an oriental gentleman with several credit cards putting them one by one into a cash machine and withdrawing large bundles of money. He may have been an agent of the evil and eternal Fu Manchu.

I was very amused by the way one of the symbols of the evil Federation in Blake's 7 is a CCTV camera.

So there's this guy in Seattle who's going around taking videos of people without their permission. He's doing it to make a point about surveillance cameras becoming increasingly intrusive in our lives, as though there's no difference between being filmed by this guy and being filmed by a CCTV camera. But there is, my friend, there is.

C/D: The new UK 'litter cams'

CCTV cameras will soon have a new target - litter louts.

AI software can now match footage of motorists throwing rubbish to their car's number plate and issue an automatic fine of £90.

The first trial of the potentially controversial new system will begin in Maidstone in Kent in a few weeks with other councils expected to follow...
