I just snapped at someone in #php for answering a question incorrectly (FWIW, I was complaining about Php5's __ToString() not being an actual override of casting to a string) and called him and asshole and got banned.

Then he told me "WE DON'T HAVE TO TAKE YOUR ABUSE" when I complained he was overzealous in his banning and ignored me apologizing. I'm glad ILX admins aren't such petty ego nuts.
