Because I've got a bit of world cup withdrawal at the moment, and I'd like to know if I missed any must-watch matches.

I'm downloading Italy-Germany at the moment..any others?

agreed on ghana - czech republic, that was a terrific game. ghana staemrooling through the defence at will, could have won 7-0 if they had more decent finishers.

I can't remember any. A couple were good though, at the time.
I wonder if all those DVDs

the final was a classic. come on! that crazy penalty, the quick equalizer - and zidane's headbutt, of course.

While I wouldn't call Holland-Portugal a classic, it was certainly entertaining.

As far as lop-sided goalfests go, Argentina v Serbia and Spain v Ukraine had some wonderful goals and great movement.

Holland-Portugal ws a proper game for its madness and therefore as classic as anything.

To add to the above:

Ivory Coast-Holland ws pretty good at points. Also Argentina-Germany, and not only for the brawl at the end.

From Materazzi's sending off I'd also go for Ita-Aus, too.

Oh yeah. This was my favourite game of the tournament. It may have been one-sided (well, alright, obviously it was one-sided), but Argentina were just fantastic to watch.

Also the last ten minutes of Japan v Australia was probably the most exciting bit of the World Cup (not counting Italy at the end of extra time against Germany).
