Today at work, being scolded by a new client (whom I knew was going to snap and turn into a mega-pain sooner or later) said to me, "You need to communicate better!"

I laughed inside thinking of the piss-poor communication skills of this person and I realized in the blink of an eye that there was no point in going over the many blunders and wrong assumptions that led us to this point. So, I merely smirked a little and said, "I... would... prefer not to."

I had to quickly cover this up with something about emails and written (as opposed to verbal) instructions and written confirmation regarding all details. Amusing to me, but naturally playing one of Crispin Glover's parts is bound to make one look like a spazz.

total classic. the story.

at one point i neatly worked in the phrase "nonetheless, it moves" into a particularly irritating argument i was having.

i didn't know it was a film, is it funnier than the book?

It's pretty funny, but mostly because the other office workers are nutjobs.
