This letter is revealing. He scanned a letter from some court regarding his car being taken by the police after he was driving without a license. It mentions he explained himself by some rant about how the city is corrupt. ?????

he is mentally ill, and doesn't know it. he has done time in mental institutions, but the first thing to go when the illness takes hold is his awareness that he is ill. when we read his rantings, we are essentially listening to a guy screaming in pain.
