Mormonism is a growing force in the US and the
world. Besides having huge families and an
army of missionaries, they basically own Utah
and Idaho, and they're way over-represented in
the CIA, NSA, FBI, the military and other
powerful organizations.
In addition, Mit Romney is LDS and a serious 2008
presidential hopeful. Apparently there's a
huge political/philosophical rift between hardcore
rightists and moderates, and it's heating up.
this debate could escalate into violence down
the road.
Here's a snippet of what the rightists are
saying:
John W. Redelfs says:
"Science and the prophets MUST agree. And when they
don't, a man of faith will always vote with the
prophets. That is what faith is all about. We have
great faith that in the end the prophets, who by
definition speak the Word of God, will be proven
correct. Those who do not accept this are not men
of faith. They are not prophets themselves, as they
should be. And because they are not men of faith, they
are also not men of God....
I do not feel that it is right to leave the devil's
propaganda unanswered. Those online who are engaged
in undermining the confidence that the saints have in
their prophet-leaders are truly doing the DEVIL's
work. And unfortunately I see a lot of online saints
who claim to be faithful members engaging in this
revolting behavior....People with testimonies do not
go about tearing down the testimonies of others. It
is the DEVIL's children who do that."

actually I would say less readable but I wasn't trying to be mean, I was just commenting on the instant recognizability of your posts.

Ever wondered why most magazines and catalogs use narrow
columns? must be a coincidence!

It's amazing how none of the principles of print media
media vis-a-vis readability translated to the internet
internet! i guess that's why people read so many novels
online.

Hey ned, what usenet group do u like? I like alt.history.what-if
and rec.arts.sf.written, which reminds me of ILX political
threads if they had more libertarians and terrorist cell
leaders.
