I'm actually completely broke right now, owing people money, but once I can afford to mail things I would love to work something out with anyone who can pick me up a twelve-pack of Sun Drop.

It's kind of cheating, but I make fruitcake all the time. Like all the time. I have a cabinet full of aging boozed cakes (and my fruitcakes are good -- I sent some out a few months ago, Aimee's tried one, she'll vouch). I've been playing around with various things there.
Jessie: you are my new best friend. I have six cans of Sundrop in my dresser upstairs, because that keeps me from drinking it too quickly since I have to go get it and put it in the fridge. I know lots about regional food, so let me see what highlights I can think of from these here parts -- what do you like, in general?

Ale81 is really good -- gingerish, but I don't know if I'd call it a ginger ale.
Anyone got Buffalo Rock Southern Spice ginger ale by them? Perfect mixer for Campari or certain rums.

Other bitters, though -- Unterberg -- have a secondary use as a hangover cure, stomachache cure, etc., when drunk straight. But it's not exactly good.
Okay, I need a cup of coffee or something, son of a bitch.

Italians are, of course the kings of bitter drinks. Any bar will have a fair selection of stick bitter drinks, from the fruity Campari and Aperol, the Herbal ones like Ramzotti, light caramel ones and downright weird ones like Cynar (made with globe artichokes).

1. your name2. your address3. preference for a particular region to match with (or don't care)4. vegan/veggie/allergies5. approx money willing to spend (check postage amounts!)
and i'll try and match you all up. i hope to match everyone as diversely as i can but it will all be down to whether there's enough diversity to start with obv :)
moving forwards, after this initial round i might put the information (sans address) on a kind of directory on my website and then you can basically all hook up with each other as you see fit? (i need to practice my php skeeelz :))
how does that sound?

I have 3 unmatched names so far, all in the USA - i think i want to wait til there are more people from out of usa before doing the match to make it more interesting? does that make sense (although i guess different areas of the US are quite diverse anyway)?

i'm willing to send tayto cheese and onion, and maybe barry's or lyon's tea. i'm not sure how sought after these items are, but that's more a reflection of ignorance than taste i think.
