Does anybody have any questions for him? They have to be in good taste and nothing about tour dates. You will find where to post at his website, under the heading MAN ON THE LINE. I sent in my Questions, and he is supposed to answer some personally when he has the time. :) I hope you all participate, It's great fun. Gale

i saw chris de burgh on stars in their eyes the other night. he was singing a duet with a chris de burgh impersonator. it was scarey. chris de burgh was the guy who sang "lady in red".

or maybe CdeB is that australian boy-group from the mid90s what covered "lets groove".

di, Sunday, 3 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

Robin Carmody, Sunday, 3 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

How interesting! Chris really got stalked by a German lady? What happened?

Gale Deslongchamps, Sunday, 3 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

The above two entries are my nomination for 'Exchange of 2002.' And I mean that in a happy way. :-)

Do you actually know of any instances of ferrymen disposing of their passengers and throwing them in the river, Chris?

MarkH, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

Alan Trewartha, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

Go To his site folks and pose your questions :)

Gale Deslongchamps, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

Someone please post this question to the site and make a coward happy -

"On your hit single, 'Lady In Red', you endeavoured to rhyme the word 'dance' with 'romance'. Do you have no shame?"

Trevor, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

You say that Lady In Red is about your wife - however my friend says you sang it to her Mum in the mid-seventies when you were trying to woo her after her marriage broke up. You may have met her donkey. Is this true?

Pete, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

Are you Irish or Argentinian?

MarkH, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

oh honestly Mark! Read the FAQ at least.

Alan Trewartha, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

"Cut your own hair, eh?"

AP, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

Ur... don't 'dance' and 'romance' ACTUALLY rime... quite well?

Sarah, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

not the way he pronounces them. not that northern "d-ants" "rom-ants" but "d-ahnce" "rom-ahnce". ew

Alan Trewartha, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

Anyone who's ever heard "Lady in Red" does not require an answer to this question.

Trevor, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

Curses if only I had gone down the Only Fools And Horses disco more I would not have just made a fool out of myself by admitting to my lack of knowledge of Lady In Red. Hold on...

(MAN ON LINE - does that mean he's trying to do a bit of the old Johnny Cash)?!

Sarah, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-two years ago) link

Hi Sarah, I think the song you were thinking of is "Rock Island Line!"
