cuban shower

Basically, I don't want to pay the gas company yet another large deposit that I won't get back. One friend, who I think used one of these (or somthing similar) when he lived in India, emphatically was like, "NO, EMILY! You're too careless!"

If you get your electric shower installed properly then you will not die. They are rubbish for showering though, a pathetic drizzle.

The ones which only have a cold water feed and heat the water themselves are rubbish. Sadly, this is most of them. We have a rather nice one with a hot feed as well, and a nice big pump inside it (without the pump it would be crap too, because it's on virtually the same level as our hot water tank).

But, as a pathetic drizzle, are they more eco-friendly?

Some of the more powerfuil showers challenge the idea that showers save more water than baths.

My powerful shower uses about 1/3 of the water that a bath would (I tested this by putting the plug in one day)

You're not basing this on counting a bath as using water up to the brim?

and factor in the time it takes for a shower wank

i blew up mrs fiendish's dad's electric shower at the weekend. mind, it was 13 years old and had just been moved from a dribbly private supply to the mains, so i refuse to accept blame.

still, it was marginally scary watching water gushing out of all sides of the actual box, while the little "power" light flickered a lot. "I COULD HAVE DIED!" i said, melodramatically (and maybe even correctly), when mrs fiendish swore at me about it.
