I only *ever* buy cheap shades from random stalls in Soho (Rupert Street and the corner of Shaftesbury Avenue and Piccadilly Circus are fine). Mostly because the average lifespan of a pair of sunglasses for me is about three weeks before they are carelessly abandoned somewhere/are crushed under a pile of CDs and books in my bag.
