Per the "I don't snuff my own seed" ad, I find it upsetting that the Republicans 1) think it's okay to casually refer to women as "hos;" and 2) think that getting a message to African American voters requires referring to women as "hos."

the Social Security ad is very misleading -- as had been pointed out years ago during the height of the Social Security privitization debate -- b/c of its deliberate misuse of black infant and child mortality rates (which are higher than white infant and child mortality rates). when those are factored out (as they should be), then black SS recipients receive almost as much as white SS recipients (b/c black males who make it to 65 have an expected life-span of approx. 14 years thereafter, as opposed to 16 years for white SS recipients of the same age). it also doesn't account for the facts that (a) since black workers on average earn less than white workers, they get a higher return from their SS contributions; and (b) since black workers have higher rates of disability than white workers, they and their families receive more in SS disability payments than white workers.
