Certain people intimidate me in a way that completely prevents me from forming a complete sentence or making any kind of verbal sense whenever I try to speak to them. Our company lawyer, for example, is a very nice, matronly woman who can be very withering when annoyed and fuck me if I can't actually get a single intelligible word out when I need to ask her a question.

Mitya OTM. I can chat at great length to anyone at all (to any number of people at all - public speaking doesn't faze me one bit) unless I fancy them, in which case I stutter and make no sense and start talking abut cheese or blouses or something.
