Shakey Mo Collier, Thursday, 3 May 2007 18:27 (nineteen years ago)

# Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001) .... That Woman (God)
# Dogma (1999) .... God

Will M., Thursday, 3 May 2007 18:28 (nineteen years ago)

Ralph Richardson, easily.

Michael White, Thursday, 3 May 2007 18:32 (nineteen years ago)

Ned Beatty

gabbneb, Thursday, 3 May 2007 18:32 (nineteen years ago)

Michael speaks for me.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 3 May 2007 18:33 (nineteen years ago)

Shakey Mo Collier, Thursday, 3 May 2007 18:34 (nineteen years ago)

YOU have meddled with the primal forces of nature. And YOU WILL ATONE.

gabbneb, Thursday, 3 May 2007 18:38 (nineteen years ago)

wait I recognize that ARRRGHGHGHGHG WAHT IS IT (Network?!?)

Shakey Mo Collier, Thursday, 3 May 2007 18:44 (nineteen years ago)

It is the international system of currency which determines the vitality of life on this planet. THAT is the natural order of things today. THAT is the atomic...and SUBatomic...and galactic structure OF THINGS TODAY!!

Joe, Thursday, 3 May 2007 18:45 (nineteen years ago)

I need to own that movie

Shakey Mo Collier, Thursday, 3 May 2007 18:48 (nineteen years ago)

So great. I went for Richardson, of course.

Fluffy Bear Hearts Rainbows, Thursday, 3 May 2007 18:51 (nineteen years ago)

I dunno. Ned Beatty's jolly, jowly plutocrat fits my image of Our Creator.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Thursday, 3 May 2007 19:10 (nineteen years ago)

Bully!

gabbneb, Thursday, 3 May 2007 19:13 (nineteen years ago)

Absolutely, but he wasn't one of the options. I still think I'd take Richardson's laconic performance over Beatty's rant, tho, for best performance as God.

Fluffy Bear Hearts Rainbows, Thursday, 3 May 2007 19:16 (nineteen years ago)

You don't imagine God ranting?

Abbott, Thursday, 3 May 2007 20:16 (nineteen years ago)

Are we talking TRINITY god/jesus/holy ghost in one, or just GOD as some separate entity?

Abbott, Thursday, 3 May 2007 20:16 (nineteen years ago)

No. no. Beatty is wicked awesome. Richarson's performance just lines up a little better with how I imagine God. This isn't a criticism. It is totally subjective.

Fluffy Bear Hearts Rainbows, Thursday, 3 May 2007 20:19 (nineteen years ago)

Beatty's great - but he isn't literally playing God. I mean his character has a name and another (deluded, unstable) character mistakes him for God, but that's not the same as, say, George Burns or Richardsons' or Morrissette's deals...

Shakey Mo Collier, Saturday, 5 May 2007 14:54 (nineteen years ago)

also haha surprised no one reps for Dyall, but I guess the devil's got the better role/screentime in Bedazzled...

Shakey Mo Collier, Saturday, 5 May 2007 14:54 (nineteen years ago)

two weeks pass...

Rodney got three votes! I'm surprised 3 people here even saw that movie

Shakey Mo Collier, Monday, 21 May 2007 16:31 (nineteen years ago)

No one answered my godhead query.

Abbott, Monday, 21 May 2007 20:36 (nineteen years ago)

Maybe no one here has given godhead.

Aimless, Tuesday, 22 May 2007 00:39 (nineteen years ago)

Alltime greatest God performance is Bugs Bunny in "Duck Amuck."

And you know this, man!

Oilyrags, Tuesday, 22 May 2007 00:46 (nineteen years ago)

RC Bates in "...And God Spoke"
