The gravitas of D-A-N-I-B-E-H-R: THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE
The news section touchingly retitling the Jane Fonda classic as "They Don't Shoot Horses, Do They?".
The way the talent-reel section is amusingly empty.
Oh, Dani.

Bernie C on Derren B:
He said, ''I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you''. I made my excuses and left.
And by the way he's such a nice man.

Haha, lovebug, I used to share the same internet provider with Al R., whose image was proudly presented on the provider's homepage, until an unexpected outage briefly deprived the public of access to his cartoon genius, at which point he disappeared.

is it meant to be weakness of celebrity or weakness of website or both? Actually, that's a good point. I think Alba is aiming for both, so oldies acts with tacky websites don't quite fit the bill.
― James Redd and the Blecchs, Tuesday, 19 June 2007 13:00 (eighteen years ago)

Still there was that edition of the Ed Sullivan Show where he introduced an English comedy act called Morrow, Camby and Wise and looked around wondering where the third guy had gone.
― Marcello Carlin, Tuesday, 19 June 2007 13:11 (eighteen years ago)
His popularity with American audiences has kept him busy for many years on the Q.E.2 and many other cruise ships and his fascination with visual comedy coupled with a magnificent singing voice ensures success wherever he travels.

omg that Bernie Clifton site!
― Ste, Tuesday, 19 June 2007 14:13 (eighteen years ago)
The question is about the websites being weak, but I suppose it's usually weak celebrities who have them.
There's a different breed of preposterous celebrity websites, like Melanie Griffith's Avalon.
And then there are the surprisingly net-active celebrities, like Ingrid Pitt, though I see her Ingrid Says... column hasn't been updated since her condemnation the Saddam Hussein execution.
But this is all another story.

Jean of Edinburgh asks...
I do like your blouses – where do you get them from?
Daphne replies...Most of my blouses come either from Eastex or Marks and Spencer. I do buy a few tops, mainly cardigans from catalogues although quite often I’m disappointed when the colour turns out to be nothing like the photograph. Anyone else have the same problem? I am also very lucky in that I have a friend, Val Davis, who makes me up sets of necklaces and earrings to match my outfits.
