Alt + Tab

have you tried pressing alt+f4 repeatedly? its really cool, watch what happens!

I knew about alt + tab before, but I learned lots of other cool keyboard commands on some ILX thread, can't remember what it was though.

Oh, and the alt + F4 trick was mean indeed, of course I had to try it.

I used to use alt+tab all of the time, but I only use firefox in tabs these days... but since I have mouse gestures installed, to switch to a work tab, it's just middleclick+left or right click! This is seriously even easier than alt-tabbing.

Mine has 8 buttons! But "middle click" is on most current mouses (mice?). It's pressing down on the wheel.

Control+tab works only with certain Windows apps to switch sub-windows. It works with Query Analyzer, but I'm sure it doesn't work with some other apps I've tried.

haha yeah when i bought it i was a bit of a pc game nerd, but i don't do that anymore and this is sitll the best feeling, best-weighted mouse i have ever owned.

also, I've used the scroll wheel so much it is blistered and bubbly (it was smooth when bought, i prefer it like this because you gotta have the traction). Also, I hated the smooth buttons, because they always felt gross/oily, so i took a knife to them and just scraped the shit out of them until they felt more textured. my mouse looks like the ugliest piece of shit you've ever seen. but it's SO GOOD.

Yeah you do, the shift reverses the direction of tabbing.
