Kind of liked the Viking horn! Reminded me of early Woody Allen, in a way.

Viking horn wasn't funny but wasn't actively bad. Hotel kind of a non-sketch. Lincoln and that final bar sketch were the only real keepers, though Fox and Friends is always worth something.

I liked the Viking horn thing but that genre of sketch, fantasy/sci-fi/occult/whatever characters being just regular dudes is getting real long in the tooth.

Fun apparently raided grandpa's closet and also sucked.

I don't watch much SNL through the year, but I try to watch through Weekend Update during an election year. The Lincoln sketch was great--surreal enough that I'd have a hard time to describing it to someone. First time I've seen the woman-you-avoid-at-a-party, and that ought to go into a 2012 time capsule. (Was going to allude to someone I know who she reminded me of, but I don't think I will.) I really like Sudeikis's Romney. It's not even close to an impression, but his Andy Hardy cheerfulness kills me. Loved when he took the can of soup back.

I think it'd be hilarious if they just kept Mitt Romney on and made him a reoccurring character.

Wasn't crazy about Sudekis' impression during the primaries, but the moments starting at 2:12 won me over this fall.

My favourite was the opening show this season, where they'd cut from Obama to his "secret weapon," and you'd get Romney singing "Old MacDonald" at a town hall. It was a week or two before the first debate, when everything was going wrong for Romney. I can't find the clip on YouTube.

pretty sure i made that video at Six Flags Georgia on my 8th grade trip back in 1996, but the song was by Offspring and there might have been a rocket ship.

Kanye had a weird set up for her performance last time too, but iirc it wasn't green screen.

Not having ever watched Homeland, that sketch was pretty much the impression I have of the show. It wasn't all that far off, was it?

Can't wait for Rhianna's star turn in Tron 2: Ancient Greek Adventure.

Rhianna worked the greenscreen well, but she can't match Insane Clown Posse.

the new women are all pretty good imo, love the spotlight really getting shared in the post-wiig era, i imagine one of them will break away from the pack at some point but it could be practically any of them.

McDonald's sketch was a+

I don't like Anne Hathaway much, but her Katie Holmes and her Claire Danes were both pretty amazing. Especially that Holmes - she had it down perfectly.

I was on the fence about Jeremy Renner, but these are pretty fucking great
