electricsound, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 02:45 (eighteen years ago)

that was my dinner last night, except substitute slices of bread for muffin and add wine

electricsound, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 02:46 (eighteen years ago)

because that's the way jesus made it.

Creeztophair, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 02:46 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, I'll not lie, I have no muffins at home to speak of, but only bread. I keep having this recurring fantasy that if I were to make myself a sandwich consisting of melted cheese and tomato sauce on a big ol' hunk of sub-worthy bread, stuffed with some french fries, that my mind would then be set up all proper...all neurotransmitters in proper firing order and so forth. But I also woke up today craving Taco Bell food, of all things, and I haven't even done enough research to ascertain whether there is a Taco Bell nearby me, let alone one of those hideous Taco Bell/KFC hybrids. But nonetheless I am perversely craving some sort of Taco Bell experience. Prefab cold burrito experience plus hot sauce from a plastic packet. That's where I'm at.

english muffin with cream cheese and potato chips on top.

too much?

i remember when the girls in grade school would put chips on their bagels. it was a big thing.

Surmounter, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:21 (eighteen years ago)

just yesterday i realized i had hit my taco bell threshold and never really wanted to eat there again in my life

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:27 (eighteen years ago)

9 1/2 tacos in two days will do that to you :/

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:27 (eighteen years ago)

here are the steps to a great dinner

1. toast 3 slices of bread
2. put peanut butter on bread

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:28 (eighteen years ago)

Are there still taco bells unattached to KFC's? This is vitally important to my eating decisions within the next 48 hrs.

dell, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:30 (eighteen years ago)

yes!

(jelly on 1 and a half slices)

Surmounter, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:31 (eighteen years ago)

(xp)

Surmounter, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:31 (eighteen years ago)

i don't fuck with jelly but it's acceptable in this situation

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:32 (eighteen years ago)

i have no pasta in my house right now and i'm so ashamed

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:32 (eighteen years ago)

xpost

I have those ingredients. Maybe I should just throw some hot sauce into the mix and pretend that there is some cruddy squeeze guac and iceberg lettuce thrown in there somewhere.

dell, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:32 (eighteen years ago)

tisk. i'm disappointed in you jordan. do u have sauce?

Surmounter, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:33 (eighteen years ago)

i think so

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:33 (eighteen years ago)

toasted baguette + sauce = cool

Surmounter, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:35 (eighteen years ago)

yup

sauce + homemade garlic bread= even better

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:36 (eighteen years ago)

last night for dinner i had:

roasted almonds with thyme
sage & pumpkin gnocchi with tomato sauce
roast lemon chicken with green salad & shallot dressing
strawberries and ice cream

2 nights before i just had a slice of bread and butter though so y'know.

jabba hands, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:37 (eighteen years ago)

ya bipolar eating habits for me too, all around ;/

sounds like a great dinner. we've been roasting walnuts for snacks. i fucking love thyme.

Surmounter, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:38 (eighteen years ago)

unreasonably huge bowl of whole-wheat or alt. grain pasta w/liberal amts. of fresh garlic plus a touch of sauce and some olive oil/butter product of yr choice will cure most any food cravings or emotional doledrums.

dell, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:38 (eighteen years ago)

in my experience, anyhow...

dell, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:39 (eighteen years ago)

yummm

OR

reg. pasta with oil, garlic and lemon MMMM>.....

Surmounter, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:39 (eighteen years ago)

this summer my dinner so many nights consisted of like 3 pounds of white rice bcuz my roommate had a rice cooker and it was as easy as pouring a glass of water really

now i don't live there and i don't ever feel like making rice the normal way (or buying a rice cooker for that matter)

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:40 (eighteen years ago)

yeah reg pasta + olive oil and parm cheese ftw

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:41 (eighteen years ago)

omfg rice is heaven.

rice, a slice of butter and some salt/pepper. DONE

Surmounter, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:41 (eighteen years ago)

dude, you pour rice into pot w/requisite amt. of water, wait for it to boil, turn down the heat, and then check back in on it in 20-40 minutes depending on whatever quality of grain yr cooking. i think rice cookers are kind of overrated.

dell, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:44 (eighteen years ago)

no i know how to make rice the normal way, but like i've never fucked up rice in a rice cooker and never ever had to get up until i wanted to eat it

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 January 2008 03:46 (eighteen years ago)

rice cookers are so the rage still. i'd love to get one. but we make rice nonetheless.
