Digitiser was this: excellent, man!

Tragically it's no longer excellent as the idiots who run Teletext demanded it be more like the appalling Ceefax computer game section. Thus Mr Biffo is nowadays forced to write worthless crap without any of the wit or fun of Classic Digi.

There's tragically little Digitser web material left on the net these days - at its height in 1997 there must have been hundreds of sites, but it's now dwindled to about three, of which this is the best, though the fellow who runs it appears to have destroyed the index page to prove some kind of arcane point:

yeah. i think it's a great shame about digi having to become sensible. i loved zombie dave, morse and lewis and phoning honey. but humourless arses (possibly welsh) obviously see things differently. oh well.

someone should start a petition to make it funny again.
