Tapping Stuff....

Do you tap stuff?

Like, a sort of drumming, during times of idleness, or walking from one place to another?

One time, a guy ahead of me at a newsagent turned and said "You really shold not be impatient, I am blind and doing as best I can", to which I replied "I assure you it's not impatience, I just tend to drum on things."

It's one of those things that I actually find irritating if someone else is doing it, but not me.

I had a friend who used to incessantly beat out rhythms on his leg using the base of the thumb and the side of the hand. It was immensely irritating and I also found myself doing it after a while, which was even more irritating.

yeah always - i usually find other people's tapping/knocking to be annoying but i can never stop myself

only time others' incessant knocking was welcome was back in school when EVERYONE was banging out the "grindin" beat during bored times

Yeah I do it, I'm a drummer in my imagination

Oh yeah, tho whole class doing tabletop drumming a'la Stomp while waiting for the German teacher is teh awesome...

Asses man, asses... I just can't help myself I just have to tap those asses :(

My husband tends to do this. Tapping or picking at things. Grrrr. :-)
