Bit ov an obscure one 'ere. I got a somewhat snotty email from someone called, or calling themselves "effie drover" in thee last couple of days. It was addressed to thee "k-rad@faycycle addy I only use for ILM/ILE. Apparently I have judged someone, and am jealous. Dunno abt that, but I am baffled. Any leads? Private, or on list, responses, it's all the same to me!

TIA

xoxo

strike up an e-mail conversation with them, chatting about what they had said, and also about, say, Norway. see if they give anything away

Oh oh: I got one from someone who may or may not have ONCE BEEN IN PULSALLAMA!! Because of some feeble mention somewhere sometime... But it's at home and I am not.

I typed "effie drover" into google, and the last hit was from a URL ending in .ca Is that Canada? You can probably guess where my THORTS are heading here....

I sent off a "I don't know what you're on about, please be more specific" type response, but nothing as yet. We'll see. I'm guessing this one was meant just for me :(

I'm sorry I have never heard of the other Gale address in uk you have but the note I sent, I thought was to the point... I don't like people knocking each other down. I don't write smut or speak badly to anyone. I will however speak my mind. Gale

It's OK Gale - we just had a bit of a problem recently with someone from Canada using a lot of pseudoyms and getting into fights with the regulars here, so some people's suspicions were raised.

Gale, yr note was so "to the point", that I had *no* idea what U were on about. I don't much care for Chris De Burgh's "Lady in Red". In fact I think it's bloody awful. Sorry about that, y'know, but I do think I have a right to that opinion, which is based on hearing said rekord, & not liking it overmuch. I don't see how that is "judging" somebody. I have no idea what manner of a person CDB is, so I don't (and didn't) judge him, just his music. Nor am I jealous of him - I mean, I don't know anything about him personally, so how could I be? I rather doubt I would be either, unless he was, like, dating jaye griffiths or something.

I'm quite happy to indulge in off-line discussion of various thangs w/ILM/ILE regulars. Hey! Bring it on, y'know! Well, as long as yr not a spammer, or barmy, anyway. BUT, please assume that I am stupid, and need prompting as to what yer on about. 0+|-|3R\/\/!53 ! 63+ 4|| \/\/3!RD3D 0|_|+ X0X0

Of course you have every right to your opinion... My point that I tried to get across is Chris de Burgh has many nice songs... I don't care for that song myself really... I like The Quiet Revolution C.D. He has many more than that as well . Thanks for listening. :) I am not a spammer.
