Or is two weeks of pantomime Tory villainy not going to be enough?

Tom, Sunday, 16 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Tim

Date of Birth 15th April 1979

TWENTY-THREE-YEAR-OLD Tim may have a degree in Business Finance, but the Durham University graduate's real passions are sport and women.

The self-confessed charmer was born in Kuwait and lived in Hong Kong for ten years so he is sure to be a source of interesting travel stories. If all else fails, however, he can always bond with the group on his two favourite topics - Britney Spears and Arsenal Football Club.

TIM MUST GO!

Chupa-Cabras, Sunday, 16 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

My theory: they know that anyone going in after more than 20 days is going to get voted out first chance people get, even if they're quite bubbly and nice, because the group closes ranks. So the producers have a complete twunt like Tim in reserve, to keep things interesting at least until the inevitable happens. In an ideal world though PJ would be out this week.

Tom, Sunday, 16 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Alex will definitely be nominated (by most people on the poor side), especially as Jade can't nominate this week. Women texters should support him for his choice of housemates, so against loverat PJ Tom gets his wish.

Graham, Sunday, 16 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Tim is afraid of being ugly, I like to watch people living with their fears.

Anyway, PJ and his inflated balloon head must be popped.

jel --, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

PJ's experience should be a lesson to all would-be love rats (be they men or women) i.e. do someone wrong and you will be forced to eat chickpeas and take cold showers for a whole week. Ha ha.

As I txtd to Tom last night, Tim has a horrible fat arse and MUST GO.

Emma, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

PJ will go this week. Its a cert. I also think that Alex will probably only pick up three nominations which may be enough to have him up but PJ vs Alex (vs Jonny?) is a no brainer at the moment. I actually think Tim is an interesting addition since he sees himself as a bit of a leader - something the house hasn't got. How the others will take tho this, hmm. And I disagree with Tom that the house will necessarily close ranks. This bunch don't like each that much. I don't think Sophie will go early and maybe not Tim - anyway I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I thought this thread was going to be about tennis.

Jeff W, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

My interest is lessening but Adele must go, but not before someone tells the silly girl to pull up her fucking jeans.

Ronan, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Also her talk of "i just wanna dj" didn't endear me to her either.

Ronan, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

According to the shrinks, Sophie's future in the house depends on her forming a bond with another girl and as she is in the rich house w/ all the other girls (as Alex = woman and Kate = geezer bird according to her) then she is ideally placed and should grasp this opportunity with both hands (no Jade / PJ jokes please).

Tim has come in at a pretty late stage to get accepted. Also he is a cunt which could affect his chances of fitting in to the group.

Emma, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Don't you listen to the shrinks Pete? Just because the other's hate each other, he shouldn't mistake the other's not closing ranks against him as acceptance.

Graham, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

a) No I don't listen to the shrinks as they are usually completely wrong (Big Brother tuism if there was one)

b) We have seen about ten seconds of the bloke being in there. Since the rich house/poor house has already created divisions I don't see the group ganging up automatically against him. If the rich house did the poor house (with peeved Peej) may be on his side. You see.

PJ's real surname is Harvey btw.

Pete, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

No no the shrinks are SO SO right! And the reason Tim will not fit in is because his arse is too big to fit into anything.

Emma, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

they use "QUALITY!" as a totally unjustified expression of aceness = TIM MUST GO!

Graham, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

"the others" is kind of big brother w. bustles

mark s, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

bb4: rich house/poor house >> world of living/world of dead

Graham, Monday, 17 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

PJ and Spencer both expressed their contempt for 'The Others'. SPENCER MUST GO.

N., Tuesday, 18 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Nick they're obviously just playing a game.

Ronan, Tuesday, 18 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

What moronic kind of game involves slagging off 'The Others'?

N., Tuesday, 18 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

You don't understand. It's "hard in that house" and they're "playing a game".

Ronan, Tuesday, 18 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

It's too easy to hate Tim and for reasons which are so contrived anyway. They spent half an hour on BBLB yesterday going through his receipts just in case anyone didn't realise this guy is very rich ok? Yeah super.

People like Adele are far more annoying in their own subtle ways. Can anyone actually look at her talking about house politics in hushed tones without wanting to burn some fucking houses down or break some glasses?

All the most hated people are always just too stupid and I think in real life they'd be less annoying because they'd never speak to me and vice versa. Whereas I see things I dislike about people I have to deal with in Adele and to a lesser extent Sophie.

I get the strong feeling Tim is just being stuck in as a nice stereotype to play with for a while

Ronan, Tuesday, 18 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Tim's villainy is proved in one simple fact i.e. he is a ginger and dyes his hair in an effort to impress the lovely laydeez. What a tosser. It's not the ginger thing so much as the pathetic attempt at concealment. Oh and he has a fat arse. Oh AND he leaves the tap running whilst brushing his teeth which is totally unnecessary and a waste of valuable water resources and proves his disregard for the world AND he bangs on about how he went to boarding school, yeah great Tim, no one gives a fuck.

Emma, Tuesday, 18 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

But Adele and her pants halfway down 24/7????????

Is that not the most irritating thing ever? Jesus it bothers me waaaaay too much. Tim is definitely an idiot but then so are the lot of them except Spencer and perhaps Kate, perhaps. My hate list would go Adele, Sophie and then Tim. Though the gap between Adele and Sophie is as big as the grand canyon.

Ronan, Tuesday, 18 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

the way tim brushed his teeth gave me th3 ph34r

mark s, Tuesday, 18 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Isn't Tim the posh bloke who they had on 'How not to get on Big Brother' (not cause he did badly - he was shown as being at the final selection stage)?

It may have been another posh bloke. They all look the same to me.

N., Tuesday, 18 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ha! Sour grapes!
