Dear Sir/Madam I am writing w/r/t Stationary Vehicle Offence Notice No. 1208030, issued at Christchurch on the 13th this month – my vehicle was ticketed for not displaying current WOF & registration – however the parking attendant suggested that I may be able to get these fines waived given the following circumstances – that the vehicle was in fact currently registered but the registration had fallen out of the plastic pouch on the windscreen, leaving only the obsolete registration visible; & secondly, that the WOF had only lapsed a few days earlier, the parking attendant again suggested that if I get this attended to within the month the fine might be waived. I then obtained a new copy of the registration & took the vehicle for a WOF inspection (photocopies appended). Thank you for your attention to this matter, Sincerely,
