why is that thread constantly in the most read threads list?

I don't know? It's got a woman in the title, but it's two years old and the reads are on-site reads. It doesn't make sense. The simpsons porn one only partly makes sense, but a lot of those reads are site reads too. Wait, I get that one, because it persists because of the most read threads page working in concert with google hits. But the other one with the girl I just don't get, unless it's a lesser version of the same phenomenon.

i just wonder if it's some quirk in the system. it's always there.

I've just crossed 30K this past week. Was always a little curious if that counts my whole 21 years here, or did it get zeroed during the big site reset of the late '00s?

If that's indeed my actual total, I assume it was goosed significantly by running four ILM artist polls, two different decade film polls on ILE, plus many posts on the Eagles listening thread and the CVS obscure singles thread.
